Dear Parents,

Thank you, thank you to all the parents and donors that helped make our Puzzle-a-Thon a success. We have raised about $1,200. The biggest success of was 100% participation of the students. Thanks for the food, thanks for the baking, cutting and mixing, thanks for hanging out with us.

If you haven’t checked out the site, you should. Almost all students have either a website or a blog associated with the Journey North project. This is a great way to see what students are learning and a way to check out their writing.

The 8th graders had a Unit Test on Thursday. Today, they are at MMA until 2:00PM.

The 7th and 8th graders are learning about atomic structure. After that, we will move into the basics of chemical bonding.
The 5th graders had a unit test on Friday. Next week, they will start a new unit.
The 6th graders are studying probability.
I am visiting my father, I’ll be back on Tuesday. Have a great weekend.
